Transportation to and From Medenine

Habib Bourguiba is the main street in the town that passes till its center . The bus station locates about 1 . 5km northward the road leading to Gabes . There are many daily SNTRI buses directed to Tunis some of them pass by Kairouan while others take the way of Sfax , El Jem or Sousse . Summer is the high season for the visitors of Tunisia and this make it difficult to have a ticket especially because there is only one office in Medenine . In addition to the buses directing to the major cities , there are several public transportation linking between Medenine and cities of Djerba , Tataouine , Metameur and Beni Kheddache .

In addition to buses , one can uses louages for traveling from Medenine to any neighboring city such as Tataouine , Djerba of Beni Kheddache and they are always available at affordable prices .
