Sidi Ali El Mekki beach is renowned for crystal clear turquoise water and gold-colored sand . The beach it the most suitable place for families who have their won children since the waves are so tiny .
The beach is also famous for the Tomb Sidi Ali Mekki that is located among the whitewashed-colored houses upon the hillside . People usually visit the city for visiting the tomb of this saint and some other saints in the same area and lightening candles in it .
Due to its small size , there are no hotels for visitors of Sidi Ali Mekki beach . Yet most of the Tunisian families camp in that area . Tourists also can camp in their tents together with those friendly families . There are no restaurants or bars for enjoying dancing or enjoying nightlife , but families usually gather and enjoy the familial atmosphere and good weather .
