From these wonderful ever-busy markets , visitors are always anxious to buy some fine souvenirs , ceramics , silver jewelry , hand-crafted jewelry , copper and brassware , ochre-and-black Sejnane pottery , olives , olive oil , harissa , pickles and exotic spices among other things . You can also buy rugs including colorful hand-made carpets , kilims , mergoums (woven carpets with geometric designs) , embroidered blankets and basketware . Some shops , such as Labedi Apiculture , sells local bee products , including eucalyptus honey , royal jelly hand cream and aromatic hair oils . If sellers ask for high prices , it is recommended that you start haggling . Some upmarket shops there sell Tamerza dates stuffed with pistachio paste or dried apricots , or covered in sesame seeds .
