Zaweya of Sahab or Abu Zama El Belaoui or the Mosque of the Barber is one of the major pilgrimage places in El Kayrowan. The mosque is known after the name of the Companion of Prophet Mohamed; Sheikh Sahab or the Barber. He was called in that name because he usually kept three hair of the prophet with him. The exterior view of the Barber Mosque gives the visitor the impression that it is a huge mosque with extremely vast courtyards.
