Zaouia Zakkak
Zaouia Zakkak is another imposing monument that tells of the stunning style of the Tunisian architecture. This octagonal stone minaret, which goes back to the 17th century AD, lies seductively in rue de Tazerka in Sousse. A typical example of the Ottoman architecture, the splendid minaret is ornamented with blue-green stone and the enchanting tiles and decorations add much to its beauty.
