Tamezret

About 13km to the west of Matmata on the way leading to The city of Douz, one would find the small village of Tamezret. It is a small quiet village usually regarded as a bus stop that tourists stop at only for having drinks or taking photos. The houses of Tamezret village are usually made of rock and all of them on the surface of earth, uklike Marmata and Haddej. The importance of Tamezret village increased due to its location on the way between Matmata and Douz since it has a bus stop and there are two buses that pass by it daily at the afternoon in their way to Douz and the other neighboring villages.
