Tabarka Island

Tabarka Island is considered the major and most fascinating island in Tunisia. It locates about 1km to the north of Tabarka marina. It has been linked to the main land through a strip of sand constructed by the French after the WWII. In spite of Tabarka Island's small size, about 400/440yds by 600m/660yds, it is worth admiration for the magnificent natural landscape of the green scenery and the sea. Additionally, visitors of the island can enjoy the exterior view of Genoese Fort which is occupied currently by the Tunisian Army.
