Sousse

Sousse Governorate is one of Tunisia's twenty-four provinces located in the north-eastern section of the country. It spreads over 2,621 km² with a population of 544, 000 (2004 statistics). Its capital is a city with the same name, Sousse, Susah or Sousa. The governorate boasts having stunning beaches, good climate, elegant hotels of all classes, good restaurants and many options for daytrips. Among its important cities are: Akouda, Bouficha, Enfida (Enfidha), Ezzouhour, Hammam Sousse, Hergla, Kalâa Kebira, Kalâa Seghira, Kondar, Ksibet Thrayet, Sidi El Hani, Sidi Bou Ali, Messaadine, M'saken, and Zaouiet Sousse.
