Sfax

The capital of Safaqis Governorate and the second largest Tunisian city, Sfax is where elements from the ancient and the modern are in abundance. It lies 270 km southeast of Tunis; and houses around 400,000 Tunisians widely renowned for being extensively hardworking than others elsewhere in the country. You can be taken to Sfax with a plane from Tunis, a train, or with a bus or a louage heading to Gabes, Sousse, Tunis, el-Jem, Mahdia, Jerba, and to Tripoli.
