Schola Juvenum

Evidence of the Roman civilization at Maktar bore more than significant theatres, temples and arches. The Schola Juvenum, at the southwestern corner of the ancient Roman town, reflected some of the much livelier aspects of the everyday life Romans had led. This monument was erected in 88 CE to be a club where young men used to gather. The place encloses a maze of columns and arches.
