Sahib EI-Tabia Mosque

The 19th-century Sahib El-Tabia Mosque in Halfaouine is considered part of Tunis' only killliye - a complex enclosing a medersa (school), souq (market), hammam (bath house) and tomb. It is located a few hundred meters north of the Medina. It also enjoys a Venetian looking. The mosque's minaret was not added until AD 1970. On the way to the mosque, a visitor may encounter people buying and selling clothes and one would pass by a street lines with fruit and vegetable stalls.
