Bizerte Old Part area is one of the preferable destination for most of the visitors of Tunisia for its great history, its marvelous location and its fascinating monuments. It encloses the Kasabah large fort, the Kasibah small fort, and the Spanish Fort in addition to the numerous mosques and worth visiting places. After the Ottoman restoration for the Kasbah in the 17th century it became a large array with a ring of streets and residential places. Therefore, two blocks west of the southern end of the port are used as indoor and outdoor market where inhabitants of the city can shop for their needs. This area is full of small shops and cafes in addition to the numerous brightly colored fishing boats.
