Mosque of The Turks

Mosque of The Turks, Mosquée des Turcs,or Djemaa Ettourk is one of the important religious constructions in Houmt Souq city. It was constructed in the 17th century and designed of a typical Ottoman Style. The Turks'Mosque locates about 200yds to the north of Ave Habib Thameur few meters away from El Ghouraba Mosque. It stands as a spacious white-washed building surmounted with seven hemispherical plain domes and circular Minaret. The square of the Turks Mosque hosts the weekly market every Monday and Thursday.
