Mosque of Bou Fatata
Another religious attraction enclosed within the medina is the mosque of Bou Ftata (Bu Fatata) in Rue el Mar, the continuation of Rue d'Angleterre. It is located 300m far from the qasaba in the far south of the medina, Sousse. The rectangular monument stretched over 8sq. m/86sq.ft and was built between 838 and 841 by the architect of the Great Mosque. The mosque's minaret and the tile decoration were later added.
