Memmian Baths
The Memmian Baths is one of the must visiting places in Bulla Rega for its great historical value and unique architectural style. It is named at after the name of Julia Memmia, the wife of Emperor Septimuis Servrus who was the first African Emperor of the Roman Empire.
Like most of the Roman buildings, this bath is designed as a central courtyard open to the sky surrounded by a number of small rooms with extensively high walls. To the northward of the building, there are some remains for some villas for the wealthy noblemen of that time to prove that the bath was placed next to the residence of the upper class members.
