Medersa Mouradia
One of the fabulous religious attractions in Tunis is the Medersa Mouradia which locates 37, Souq Étouffes Street, Medina. The building was installed over the remains of a Turkish barracks that suffered great damage in a serious uprising. The Medersa (school) was built in 1673 by Mourad, son of Husseinite bey Ali Pasha. Today, the school serves as a place in which apprentices are being trained in traditional crafts.
