Mausoleum of Sidi Amar Kammoun

The Mausoleum of Sidi Amar Kammoun is one of the most favored religious attractions, to the west along rue Borj Ennar, at Sfax. Built at the start of the 14th century by the Aghlabids, the tomb's elaborate Minaret is the star attraction of the building. The Kasabah can be viewed from the mausoleum. The minaret was used over the centuries as a watchtower.
