Ksar Beni Barka
Ksar Beni Barka is an old village that lies on the way between Tataouine and Ksar Ouled Soltane, on top of a rocky cliff. The place has a typical small village ksar founded in the 14th century by a Libyan tribe. The wall bricks of the ksar follow meticulously, which suggest the accuracy by which the walls were built and the large number of skillful people involved in the building process. Today, much of it is in ruins but the entrance gate had survived right at the very top.
