Al Qasrayn City is the capital city of Al-qasrayn governorate. It is situated below Jebel Ech Chambi, Tunisia's highest mountain, and is inhabited by 76,243 people according to 2004 statistics. The economy of al-qasrayn depends on different activities, like olive cultivation, oil production, growing of grain, raising of sheep and cattle in addition of the city being a market centre.
