Kasbah Mosque
On the north side of the entrance of Bizerte stands the Large Fort of Kasabah with its high walls that are dug with houses and shops currently. In the western side of the Kasbah stands a great Hanafite mosque that date back to the 17th Century known as Kasabah Mosque. The mosque is worth admiration for its luxurious architectural style that is accentuated by the 30 stone columns supporting the 20 elegant domes surmounting the mosque. Of special interest is the Minaret of the mosque which date back to the 13th Century.
