Hammam Bourguiba

The area of Hammam Bourguiba is a remote village located 17km southwest of Ain Draham. It is situated in a small valley that is only 4km from the Algerian border. Visiting Hammam Bourguiba makes a fine day trip from Ain Draham. You can go there by bus from Ain Draham (two run daily) or by Taxi. The hot sulphurous-rich water springs in the Hammam is said to give some health benefits. It was also a favorite of former president Habib Bourguiba and hence the name was given to it. The area is also fascinating since it is actually a mountain village set in the heart of the forest.
