Halq Al Wadi

La Goulette or Halq El Wadi is one of the major ports in Tunisia that locates about 10km away from the center of Tunis. The name of '' La Goulette'' is derived from the French word'' gullet'' which means down to earth. The reason for giving it that name is its location as a linking point between Lake Tunis and the Open Sea. The Port of La Goulette is highly renowned for its restaurants serving delicious sea food.
