Guellala Museum
Guellala Museum is the most remarkable tourist attraction in the city and one of the major museums in Tunisia as a whole. It locates on the top of a hill about 2km to the east of the city on the road leading to Cedouikech town. The museum was inaugurated in 2001. It opens for public from 7am-11pm in summer and 7am-6pm in winter.
The museum is worth admiration for its exterior unique architectural style and for the fascinating collection of exhibits within it. The white-washed façade of the museum is elegantly built using the white rare stones found currently in Africa only.
