Duz

A place out of this world, modern Douz (Duz or Doz) is one with beauty and charm. Part of the town is abundant with accommodation facilities, restaurants, coffeehouses, and banks; the other is the Zone Touristique, 3km southwest of the centre down ave des Martyrs. Though apparently a desolate place with no signs of tourist attractions due to the hot weather during midday all summer long, Douz becomes much busy and livelier at night, especially when cafes and Souqs get packed with locals and tourists.
