Distinctive market square

Beni Matir is one of the small cities in Tunisia that encloses some places of great historical value and some entertaining places that tourists pass by during their visit to the city. On top of these places is the Market square that is highly distinguished by the numerous arcaded buildings surrounding it. the most remarkable feature in these buildings is the red colored doors and windows. few meters away from the market, there is a building with great historical value since it was used for a long period as a church. Currently this building with attractive architectural style is used as a children club.
