Dar Ben Abdallah Museum
A must-stop sightseeing in Medina in Tunis, Dar Ben Abdallah Museum is a palace that belonged to one of the medina's prominent wealthy officers. The palace is located in the heart of the medina (old city). Built in 1796, the building encloses a number of elegant rooms, four of which manifest the luxurious life of the 18th-century bourgeois classes as well as the masters' house and the guests' house (containing the museum administration). The mansion later acquired a more fashionable Italianate style of 19th-century.
