Cisterns of Ain Mizeb

The Cisterns of Aïn Mizeb are eight domed reservoirs with 7 basins once served as the main water supply of Dougga. They lie nearby the Temple of Minerva. To date, they still preserve their perfect condition. An underground aqueduct was used to carry water from a spring located 200 meters away to the cisterns.
