Chiristian Cemetery

Few meters to the east of the gate of El Kaf, one can find the Christian Cemetery with its worth admiration wrought-iron grave decorations. This location has a great history that dates back to the Ottoman Rule of Tunisia when this gate and other four gates were established for protecting the city, now lost. The cemetery locates next to the Roman Cistern that still provides the villagers with water and was once the source of water for the Roman baths in El Kaf City.
