Byzantine Fort

Next to the remains of the Church of Melleus in Haidra, appear the remains of the Byzantine Fortress that date back to 550AD. Some parts of the fortress are in ruins currently, but the remains are worth seeing for the fascinating structure and the historical value. To the north of this fortress, one can see the remains of a great Roman Temple that was once standing in this area in the past.
