Beni-Khiar

The quite sleepy town of Beni Khiar is located only 4km away east of Nabeul. The villagers earn their living from weaving; and one of the must-stop attractions here is the charming weaving center Cooperative des Tisserands el-Faouz. A wonderful common scene is a man operating looms and spinning wool to produce a rug to be sold at one of the small stalls or shops. In short, being here allows you to experience a taste of country life. This place has enough facilities including good schools, high street with essential shops, post office, doctors, dental surgeries and other amenities.
