Basilica of Bellator

The Basilica of Bellator is one of the ancient churches in Sbeitla that locates next to the Basilica of St. Vitalis (6th Century) and about 100 meters northward the Arch of Septimius Severus. The church was constructed in the 4th Century and is highly admired for its style of decoration that is accentuated by the beautiful lotus leaf mosaic ornamenting the part facing the plain white baptistery.
