Bani Matir

The town of Beni Matir is a small and quiet village located 10km southeast of Ain Draham. The village was constructed in 1984 by the French to provide a place of residence for the workers working on the construction of the first dam there. To get access to public transportation from the village, you should go to Fernana on the Ain Draham - Jenduba road. Fernana is the nearest village to Beni Matir which is located 15 km south of it and 19 km south of Ain Draham. There is only one bus a day that links Ain Draham to Beni Matir and runs through this road. Also hiring a private taxi is possible.
