Arch of Septimius Severus
The Arch of Septimius Severus is the principal Roman monument and the extremely well preserved in the whole archaeological site from the Roman Period. It was constructed in 195 AD and locates in the eastern part of the site to the northwest of the Basilica of Candidus. The arch was totally surrounded with the Byzantine walls and this protected it by the passage of time.
