The Cisterns of Aïn Mizeb are eight domed reservoirs with 7 basins once served as the main water supply of Dougga . They lie nearby the Temple of Minerva . To date , they still preserve their perfect condition . An underground aqueduct was used to carry water from a spring located 200 meters away to the cisterns .
