Bab Ghedive in El Kaf

Bab Ghedive is the last thing one can stop at during his visit to El Kaf City . This gate was one of five huge gates fortifying the city . It locates few meters away from the Roman Cistern that still provide some of the villagers with their needs of water . To the east of the gate appear the wrought-iron grave decorations ornamenting the Christian Cemetery . About 200 meters to the west , one can find the current large Jewish Cemetery that was once the presidential palace of President Habib Bourguib . It is not recommended to visit this place at night because it attracts the boozers and becomes insecure region at night .
