Teboursouk is a small town located 68km north¬east of Le Kef . You can get to the town by taking any of the SNTRI transportation between Tunis and Le Kef , which runs almost hourly and stop at Teboursouk's SNTRI office in the town centre . If you get transportation from Tunis side , it takes about one and three-quarter hours and the service runs until 5pm , while from Le Kef side takes only one hour and the service runs until 8:15pm . To leave the town of Teboursouk , you can take the louages from across the street going to Beja , Tunis or Le Kef .

The town of Teboursouk is known for its fine natural scene of the forests on the high hills . The town's market day is Thursday . Nothing is distinctively attractive to tourists in the town . You can take your lunch here at Restaurant L' Arret Chez Adel , next to the SNTRI office . If you will stay here for a night or two , the only available place of choice would be Hotel Thugga which is a two-star 33 room clean-and-comfortable hotel , located about 1 km down the hill from the centre of Teboursouk and 8km from Dougga and has a restaurant too .
